Wallflowers in pots 2017 Wallflowers are grown in 8cm square pots. These are larger than last year and as the plants have been given more space, they are bigger and better branched. The sooner they are planted in the autumn, the larger they will grow, and come the spring, they will be covered in scented flowers. If used with plantings of winter pansies, they add a bit of height. Winter Flowering Violas Viola Sorbet series flower well through the winter. The flowers are about half the size of the Panola pansies and though they are smaller, they are more numerous and come in a range of colours, some delicate, and others more flamboyant. The most reliable strain of winter flowering pansy. These will flower well throughout the winter providing ground is not frozen solid and as it warms up in very early spring, they will provide a mass of flower. Orange and yellow are particularly sweetly scented. Grown this year in 8cm square pots, the plants will be a little larger than previous years.
