For many years we have grown a strain of winter flowering Pansies called Universal. These have now been discontinued and the seed is no longer available.  The good news is that  the replacement series that we have selected is better with slightly more compact growth. They are also very free flowering with flowers, not to large, and able to resist winter weather.
Select from the 11 colours listed below. Plants are grown in 7cm square pots so that you can select which colour mix you would like. As the plants grow, we space the pots to keep the plants stocky; so they make and stay a much better plant than pack grown ones which can become top-heavy.

Plant in a sunny situation in good, fertile soil or containers. Flowering time - mid March - April. Pack grown wallflowers are guaranteed free of club-root disease which can be brought into your garden from infected field grown stock.

Ornamental Kale ‘Red Chidon’ - In 1 litre pots, these plants are not treated to keep them compact as many are. They will form impressive plants with purple foliage lasting until warmer weather in the spring.
